Pricing at West Oak Recording varies heavily based on each project, however all of our prices are “per song,” rather than “per hour” or “per session,” which makes them significantly lower than any other near-professional quality studio. Here are some parameters to give you an idea of what your project might cost. When we talk about your project in detail with you we can give you a definite price.
–1 piece singer/songwriter (guitar, ukulele, piano, banjo, etc.) and vocals:
$20-$35 per song. (This would vary based on how complex your music is – as far as layering instruments, vocals, etc, because this becomes more work to mix, and therefore, costs slightly more money.)
–Full band:
$30-$35 per song. Again, varies based on genre of band, how many members and instruments will be tracking, etc. This price would also include a single person who wants to record bass, drums, guitar, etc, all by themselves.
–Literally anything else:
Contact us! We’re willing to work with absolutely ANY recording project. Just because we don’t have preset prices for something doesn’t mean we can’t/won’t do it. This would include voiceovers, audiobook recording, spoken word, obscure instrumental things, duets with pets, stand up comedy, ASMR, puppet shows, etc. Contact us!
